Nine Queenslanders have been selected in a 32-man Junior Wallabies squad ahead of the upcoming Oceania Rugby tournament on the Gold Coast.

Four contracted St.George Queensland Reds – Mac Grealy, Kalani Thomas, Zane Nonggorr and Josh Flook – have been included, with all four seeing game time throughout the 2021 Super Rugby season.

Bond University duo George Blake and Wilson Blyth, Brothers’ Harry Vella and Titi Nofoagatotoa and University of Queensland backrower Will Roach round out the Queensland contingent in the squad.

Junior Wallabies Head Coach Nathan Grey said: “31 players have been selected after a difficult selection discussion going over the 65 players who have contributed to the past two Junior Wallaby camps.

“A handful of players with Super Rugby experience will add to the academy and club players from across Australia.

“They will be representing themselves, family, friends, and others their age who would love the opportunity to play in an abbreviated Oceania Competition.”

The squad will assemble on June 27th in Queensland before partaking in the Oceania Championship in early July.
